A deputy was advised of a vehicle that was abandoned on Sandoe Street in Grand Junction after driving into ponding water. The vehicle was later removed after the water receded.
A deputy was dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 4 south of Jefferson near 257th Street. Lucas Jeffery Ruppel 24, of Perry, was southbound on Highway 4 driving his 2001 Ford Explorer, when due to snow on the roadway, lost control of his SUV and it rolled into the west ditch. Lucas Ruppel was not injured but his vehicle was determined to be a total loss. Ruppel was issued citations for Failure to Maintain Control and Failure to Provide Proof of Liability.
A deputy was advised of the theft of Christmas decorations from a residence in the 1100 block of Cedar Street in Scranton.
A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Howard Street in Rippey to investigate a reported burglary.
A deputy assisted the Department of Human Services with the removal of a child from a residence in Churdan.
A deputy was asked to check the welfare of a male subject reported to be along the Raccoon River Bridge west of Jefferson on Highway 30. The deputy determined the male subject was deer hunting.
A deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of 19th Street South in Grand Junction to help mediate a parking concern.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
