The Guthrie Center boys basketball team won their first game of the season last week. Head coach Jake Mohling says he was glad his young team pulled out the 35-33 win at West Central Valley. “A little bit inexperienced, so we made some mistakes, but I was glad the boys hung on and pulled that win out. We really needed that for a confidence booster.”

The Tigers host Woodward Academy tonight.
