A Jefferson man is sentenced to probation for a March incident.
According to court documents, 52 year-old Jerry Barker pled guilty to two Class D Felonies for possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. He was sentenced in Greene County District Court to three years of probation for each charge, with the sentences to run concurrently. He is also ordered to pay over $2,100 in fines, court costs, surcharges and court appointed attorney fees.
Charges stem from an executed search warrant in the 200 block of South Oak Street on March 4th. Police officers recovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, guns, cash and prescription drugs.
Two other suspects were previously sentenced in the case. 42 year-old Tamara Kat Arnold was sentenced to two years of probation for prohibited acts and accessory after the fact and 19 year-old Stephen Arthur Molle was sentenced to one year of probation for possession of marijuana.
