The Friends of Lake Panorama are 80% complete with their fundraiser to build a new playground at Sunset Beach.

The organization reports that they have raised $40,000 of the $50,000 needed for the initial project. Recently, the group announced plans to raise an additional $50,000. If that extra money is raised by August 1, 2016, then those funds will be matched by the Lake Panorama Association Board. Because The Friends is a nonprofit organization, all donations are considered tax deductible. Donations can be deposited into the Friends of Lake Panorama’s securities account at the Guthrie County State Bank Investment Center in Panora.
