The Perry boys basketball team is still feeling things out in this opening month of the season as they get set to host Carroll in a 7:30 clash at the Perry Sports Pavilion.  The Bluejays are riding a three game losing streak after a couple of narrow fourth quarter losses to Ballard and most recently Norwalk.  “You learn a lot about your team when the chips are down,” stated Head Coach Ned Menke.  “We have lacked some composure in certain areas late in ball games when things don’t go our way.  We have to be able to focus on doing our job and control what we can control.  Sure, we had the late technical against Ballard but I noticed some other areas and spots where the composure just wasn’t there.  It is something that we are addressing.”

Perry is currently 2-3 on the season and will look to head into the holidays with some confidence with back to back games today and tomorrow at Ogden.
