Four high school basketball teams struggling for victories will take to the court in Winterset tonight when the Greene County teams visit the Huskies.

The two girls’ teams have combined for three victories so far this season. Coach Dean Lyons’ Rams are 2-5 while Winterset is 1-6. On the boys’ side, Coach Jeramie Hinote’s Rams have a 1-5 record, and the Winterset boys are 0-5.

Greene County lost at home to the North Polk (Alleman) squads on Friday night, while the Winterset teams both fell to Carlisle.

Sophomore Laurin Lyons leads the Greene County girls in scoring at eight points per game for a team averaging just 26 per contest. The Greene County boys have Trey Tucker at 19 points per game with Max Neese just over 10 points and Trey Hinote just under the 10 point mark.
