The Conversations with Coffee series continues this week.

The pilot program kicked off in late October and has since relocated to the First United Methodist Church.  The goal is to give both people learning both English and Spanish s chance to practice.

“Whatever level you are, you just want to have an opportunity to talk to people.  It brings the English learners together with volunteers and it’s a wonderfully comfortable and easy program where people are very welcome, where there’s a lot of positive feedback, where we just kind of pair people up with matches that are helpful” says Dr. Judith Conlin with the Iowa International Center.
