The Greene County Board of Supervisors met for the final time this year.
The Board approved to continue to use the Iowa Department of Natural Resource’s Master Matrix scoring for animal confinements, appropriating the final 15 percent of the budget, a tentative report from MHF Engineering report for drainage district 150-86 and the weed commissioner’s annual report.
The Board also approved position changes with the Sheriff’s office. Desiree Rice Lucht is now a full time jailer, Jean Tuhn is now a full time telecommunicator and Joshua Derry is a new part time jailer.
Two more 2017 fiscal year funding requests were made. Greene County Public Health requested $150,000 and Mike Piepel asked for $1,500 as the indigent caretaker of the county. No formal action was taken by the Board on either request.
