The New Year doesn’t just bring new beginnings, new hopes, and new futures to the people of the community, it brings all that and more to the facilities as well. For the ADM school district the new beginnings would come in the form of new facility upgrades proposed by the ADM school board.

The proposed upgrades stem from a Masterplanning study in conjunction with frk architects + engineers this past April, to examine the current state of the ADM athletic facilities, propose improvements, evaluate cost projections, and develop an appropriate time line.

Some of the more significant improvements will include updated lighting for all of the ball fields, adding additional running lanes and storage facilities for the track field, and even replacing the natural grass field with synthetic turf.

The facilities improvements will be broken up into three different phases each with corresponding timelines. The first phase has already been underway with planning and will look to conclude in August of 2016. Phase two will commence February 2016 and end around April and December of 2017. The third phase is scheduled to begin schematic design July of 2017 and is set to end December of 2018.

For all the latest updates and information on the athletic facility upgrades you can get in contact with ADM Activities Director Reece Satre or superintendent Greg Dufoe or follow the process online on their website www.admschools.org
