Entering its fifth year in Guthrie County, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program continues to help low and moderate income residents complete their tax returns for free.

Extension Coordinator Mary Ebert says through their first four years of hosting the VITA program, the amount of users has increased each year.

Individuals and families interested in signing up for VITA must have made less than $57,000 in 2015. Appointments will be scheduled starting Friday. For more information 641-747-2276.
