Prior to Friday night’s 60-30 loss at Boone, the Perry Jayette basketball team had won three games in a row, including victories in 6 of their last 7 contests. During that win streak, the Jayettes were helped by increased scoring production from junior Emma Olejniczak. Olejniczak averaged 4.5 points prior to the win streak, and 10 points per game during the Jayette’s three game stretch of wins.

Perry will have extra time to rest up this week before traveling to face Carlisle, a team that defeated the Jayettes 49-42 back in early December. You can hear that game on 99.7 fm and 1310 am KDLS with pregame coverage beginning at 5:45 pm.
