With less than three weeks to go in the regular season, the West Central Valley girls basketball team is wanting to pick up the pace and intensity of their play. Head coach Drew Stonewall says the Wildcats haven’t been playing to the competitive level that he knows they can reach. “Over the past couple of weeks, I don’t think we’ve been playing as well as we could. Our intensity is kind of lacking right now. We’ve gotten stuck in a little bit of a mid-season slump here.”
The Wildcats will try to further their improvement when they head to Guthrie Center tonight. Tip off scheduled for 6 p.m.
