Greene County Iowa State University Extension is offering a child care training course next week.

Director Lori Mannel says the “Building Relationships with Children and Youth Who Challenge Us” workshop will be at the Extension office in Jefferson on Thursday, January 28th from 6:30 to 8:30pm. It is open to anyone and includes a professional development credit for childcare providers.

“Dr. David Brown, who is housed out of the Greene County Extension office, he is going to be the specialist presenting that night. I’ve been in several workshops of David’s and he does an excellent job. Come hear an outstanding speaker on a very pertinent topic that we could probably all relate to.”

Registrations are encouraged by January 26th with a $10 fee to offset direct expense costs. Call 386-2138 to sign up.
