Funeral services for Clair Cairns, 71, of Jefferson, will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Greene County, Iowa. Friends may call at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home after 11:00 am Wednesday. The family will be present to greet friends between 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson. An Elks Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cairns of Jefferson, IA; daughters: Shelly (Scott) Fairbairn of Prairie City, IA and Robin (Charles Jr) Gunn of Jefferson, IA; seven grandchildren; brother: Robert (Yvetta) Cairns of Jefferson, IA; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
