The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.
The Council will consider for approval a resolution to apply for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) following a public hearing for the intention to apply for the $1 million grant. Other items with the CDBG grant that the Council will consider for approval include finding existence of slum or blighted areas of buildings and a contract with the architect Franks Design Group.
The Council will also consider allowing the fire department to apply for a grant to replace their air packs, a proposal from Automatic Systems to upgrade the computer system at the wastewater plant, a resolution to acquire a property for demolition and a funding request from Greene County Development Corporation.
The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
