A deputy assisted a Department of Human Services caseworker with the check of a residence in Scranton.

The Sheriff investigated a burglary and theft of personal property from a rural residence.

Wednesday, January 27th

Deputies helped with traffic control during the Pizza Ranch fire at 206 North Wilson Street in Jefferson.

In all case when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
