Blizzard-like conditions will be heading our way late tonight.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Dallas and Guthrie counties and a blizzard warning for Greene County.  Both go into effect late tonight and are expected to last through early Wednesday morning.

Snow is expected to arrive after midnight tonight and last through tomorrow evening, though strong winds through tomorrow night are expected to create whiteout conditions.  The heaviest snow is expected during the morning commute tomorrow with around 1-2 inches falling per hour and total snow accumulations of 8-12 inches expected.

The National Weather Service says extremely hazardous travel conditions are expected and travel may become nearly impossible at times.  They encourage everyone to reconsider any travel plans.
