Perry junior Grace Marburger connected on eight 3-point baskets in Friday nights lopsided victory over Carroll. It was the second time this season that Marburger hit 8 3’s in one game, which tied the Perry High School record. Ironically, Perry girls basketball coach Mike Long’s daughter, Allison, set the school record with 8 3’s in one game back in her senior season in a tournament at Ogden.
“I really wasn’t shooting the ball well in warm up’s,” smiled Marburger. “I hit the first three and the shots just kept coming. Their defense gave me a lot of space up top and I had some really good looks at the basket. It was fun!”
Marburger finished with 28 points to pace Perry to their 8th win of the season.
