The Paton-Churdan girls’ basketball team was a 73-55 winner on Saturday in Churdan over Boyer Valley (Dunlap) in a Rolling Valley Activities Conference game. All-State player Carleigh Paup led the Rockets with 27 points, and the senior added six steals. Freshman Jenna Beyers scored 18 points and hauled in 11 rebounds.

The boys game went to the visiting team by a 64-59 final despite 35 points and 11 rebounds from P-C senior Noah Juergensen. The Rockets led 34-29 at intermission, but were out scored 35-25 in the second half to fall to 13-5 overall and 13-4 in the Rolling Valley. Joe Weber led BV with 24 points and six assists, while Jalen Malone added 16 points and hauled in 13 rebounds.
