Heading into the weekend, the Buena Vista University Beavers women’s basketball team had a winning record of 10-8. That’s in part thanks to Panorama alum Sidney Beckman who is averaging nearly 10 points per game, while averaging about 20 minutes on the floor. Beckman has bolstered her stats recently, scoring 17 in a blowout win against Central College a week ago tonight and tallying 13 points in a close 63-59 loss at Luther College in Decorah on Wednesday. Beckman and the rest of the Beavers play again next when they host Dubuque on Wednesday.
