As we’ve reported, the Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center School boards both approved a whole-grade sharing agreement to go into effect July 1st.

Superintendent Steve Smith says one of the first things administration will do is meet with teachers about where they will fit into the shared district. “We are meeting with staff individually to talk and listen to them. We’ll also lay out the schedule or courses that they might be responsible for another year. That’s the next big item and important step we have to take, and then focusing on integrating students after that.”
