We now have more information on the single vehicle crash on Highway 169 near Highway 141 Friday evening.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Nathaniel Cain of Perry was traveling north on Highway 169 when the front tie rod on his vehicle broke and he lost control.  Cain went of off the roadway and up the ditch.

He was transported to Mercy Hospital by Dallas County EMS and cited for operation without registration and failure to provide proof of insurance.  Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $200.
