The ADM boys basketball team is looking to get back on their winning ways and get back to the top spot in the Raccoon River Conference tonight as they welcome in conference opponent Perry Blue Jays.

The Tigers have had a rough road stretch as of late as they enter tonight’s contest having gone 1-4 in the past 5 contests. Hard to really put too much blame on this Tigers squad as they came into a tough conference road stretch facing teams as they were hitting their strides. When ADM met Bondurant-Farrar for the first time the Blue Jays were flirting with .500 but ever since facing ADM, they have won 5 of their last 7 games. ADM also faced a powerhouse Pella Dutch squad who’s only loss was to a 4A squad who ranks second in that class.

The Tigers have a lot of maturity about and they have proven that they can overcome mistakes. Head coach Aaron Mager told Raccoon Valley Radio that this Tigers squad is a very resilient squad.

“We’re a resilient team. I don’t think these guys lack confidence, they are all confident in their abilities and collectively there’s enough body of evidence out there that shows we’re a good team,” said coach Mager.

The Tigers will now look to bounce back as they face the Blue Jays tonight. Game tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm with pregame coverage tipping off at 7:00 pm on your home for Tiger basketball, K107.9FM and online at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
