It’s Thursday night varsity basketball tonight for the Greene County Rams. The girls and boys go to Alleman to face North Polk after Tuesday’s nights’ action was snowed out. The Comets swept the Rams last month in Jefferson and the Greene County teams will be trying to turn the tables this evening.

NP is 11-6 in girls’ basketball and 10-4 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference while Greene County, under the direction of head coach Dean Lyons is 3-14 and 3-10. The Comets have a boys’ record of 10-6 and they are 9-4 in conference play. Coach Jeramie Hinote’s Rams are 6-10 overall and 5-7 in the conference, but the on the road the Rams have a 4-3 record.
