It was a busy night of basketball for Guthrie County’s teams Friday night as Guthrie Center battled Van Meter, Des Moines Christian traveled to West Central Valley and Panorama hosted Ogden, all in boy/girl doubleheaders.

The Guthrie Center girls couldn’t keep up with the talented Bulldogs from Van Meter, ultimately losing 58-21. The West Central Valley girls were outgunned by Des Moines Christian 66-37 and the Panorama Panther girls rolled over the Ogden Bulldogs 49-32.

In boys action, Van Meter toppled Guthrie Center 56-27, Des Moines Christian beat West Central Valley 80-46 and the Panorama Panthers defeated Ogden 76-45.
