The Perry wrestling team might be banged up a little bit but they did not let that slow them down Saturday as the Jays qualified 8 for next week’s District in Webster City.  Perry crowned 6 individual champions and 2 runner ups.  Zach Stewart and Adan Medina earned the second place finishes while Caleb Olejniczak, Kade Van Kirk, Zach Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Eli Saemisch and Gisaveri Niyibizi earned sectional championships.  Olejniczak was wrestling for the first time in four weeks while Van Kirk battled back from a late season injury.

Perry will wrestle Creston Tuesday night in a Class 2A Regional semifinal dual and travel to Webster City Saturday for the District Championships.
