The Perry Public Library invites all area families to stop by for national Take Your Child to the Library Day.
Taking place on Saturday, February 20th, children’s librarian Suzanne Kestel says it’s an event they looking forward to.
“We had a really good attendance last year, it was fun. We will again have face painting and balloons for the kids, and several community outreach programs. Different organizations will come and tell a little bit, have samples out and you can meet them if you’re interested in like say preschool for next year, that kind of thing with your children. This is all geared toward the children.”
The program takes place from 10am until 1pm. It’s free and open to the public.
