As Guthrie and Dallas counties remain in a winter weather advisory through 3 p.m. and Greene County remains in a blizzard warning until 6 p.m., area roads are becoming covered in blowing snow and visibility is dangerously low in areas. The National Weather Service predicts just 1-2 inches of new snow to fall during this storm, but warns that the more dire threat is that of the near whiteout conditions when the wind does pick up.
