After a two year absence, the Greene County Chamber is bringing back an event to jumpstart the spring season.
Tourism and Events Coordinator Angie Pedersen says “Spring Into Greene” will help get people excited about outdoor projects.
“The idea is just to get back into thinking about taking care of your yards and fun new things for your houses. We’ve got lots of opportunities right here in Greene County of places you can shop those sorts of things. It’s also a nice reminder of what’s available locally.”
She points out that a special guest speaker will be at the April 30th event.
“Jefferson Matters: Main Street is collaborating with the Chamber on this and they are helping to bring in Jerry Kluver, the garden and plant expert extraordinaire.”
The event is scheduled for April 30th.
