Four West Central Valley wrestlers placed in the top two slots of their weight district at Saturday’s sectional meet in Guthrie Center and will now advance to this weekend’s district meet at Interstate 35 High School in Truro. Placing first for the Wildcats include 132 pounder Tye Joint, 160 pound Carson Waddell and 285 pound Tristan Lloyd. 152 pound Steven Ward finished second. Head coach Wayne Gilman says his team performed great Saturday. “Yeah, we were tickled with the day.”

District wrestling begins Saturday at noon and I-35 High School.
