As we’ve reported, State Senator Jake Chapman is once again leading a push to legalize fireworks in Iowa.

State Representative Clel Baudler says the topic has received some discussion in the state House, but he doesn’t agree with it. “I’ve opposed Jake Chapman’s push for legalizing fireworks in Iowa and we kind of have fun with it. I told him the other day, I said ‘Jake, we’ve got more important things to do than blowing up some hands and fingers.’”
