The Raccoon River Valley Trail Association is hosting their annual banquet next weekend.
It takes place Saturday, February 20th at the Marriott Hotel in West Des Moines. The evening includes a social gathering with complimentary beer and a cash bar before a sit down dinner of pork loin, Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls and cheesecake, followed by the program and live auction.
Serving as the 9th annual banquet’s featured speaker is recreational trails expert Lisa Hein.
Tickets are $50 per person, or you can purchase a reserved table for eight people for $500.
All proceeds go to help market and promote the trail.
