The annual Daddy and Daughter Dance is next week in Jefferson.

Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner says any fathers, grandfathers or father figures are invited to spend a night out with their girls for games and dancing at the Greene County Community Center on Friday, February 19th from 6:30 to 9pm.

“The girls have a lot of fun, they get all dressed up and then their daddies bring them to the dance and we do a lot of dancing. We do have prizes that we’ll give away. We have snacks for them and we usually start serving the snacks about a half hour after the dance begins.”

Musical Edge Sound and Lighting Design will provide the musical entertainment and Morgan Fredrickson Photography will be available for photos. The cost is $20 per couple and $5 for each additional girl. Pre-registration is required by today. Call the community center at 386-3412 to sign up.
