T-minus one day until the district 6 wrestling tournament is filled with Tiger wrestlers. Head coach Justin Schmauss’s Tiger wrestling team has had an outstanding year and will be bringing 10 wrestlers into Knoxville on Saturday.

The diverse group of upperclassmen and underclassmen have been thriving on all cylinders up to this point, and there seems to be no sign of stopping now. The Tigers will be sending 4 freshmen and one sophomore along with the experienced senior squad of Zach Johnston (39-3), Cole Bennett (28-5), Nathan Heath (34-3) and Hunter Gibson (36-8) along with junior Kade Overton (19-13) to District 6. The Tiger freshmen and lone sophomore are Nolan Harsh (32-13), Andrew Flora (33-13), Caleb Buse (21-9), Chris Johnston (21-19), and Caleb Button (15-26).

District 6 will commence at 12:00pm on Saturday.
