A rollover accident in Greene County results in injuries and a vehicle totaled.

Deputy Nathaniel Chapman says just before 4pm a Scion was heading west on 230th Street between Grand Junction and Jefferson, when the vehicle hit a patch of black ice lost control and rolled into the west ditch. The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Emergency Medical Services with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Chapman notes that due to icy road conditions, the driver will not be issued a citation. The vehicle is determined to be a total loss.

The Jefferson Fire Department provided traffic control while crews cleaned up the scene.
