The Perry Jayette basketball team fell to Boone on Senior Night at Perry on Friday by the final tally of 47-21. The Perry offense had trouble finding a rhythm, scoring just 2 points in the game’s first 9 minutes. Boone took a comfortable 32-10 lead to the break, and pushed the advantage to 45-16 after three quarters. Boone freshman Madlyn Danner had a game-high 18 points, while the Jayettes were led by 8 points from senior Taylor Lathrum.

The Jayettes fall to 8-13 (4-10), they’ll host Carroll in the first round of postseason play on Wednesday.
