The Greene County Sheriff’s office has released the name of the driver that was injured in Friday’s rollover accident.
Deputy Nathaniel Chapman says just before 4pm, 25 year-old Mica Terrill was heading west on 230th Street, between Grand Junction and Jefferson, when her Scion hit a patch of black ice on the S-curve, lost control and rolled into the west ditch. She was taken to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Emergency Medical Services with an arm injury. Chapman notes that Terrill was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Chapman notes that due to icy road conditions, the driver will not be issued a citation. The vehicle is determined to be a total loss.
The Jefferson Fire Department provided traffic control while crews cleaned up the scene.
