An audit report for the City of Stuart from fiscal year 2015 has been released.
Accounting firm Faller, Kinchelcoe & Company, PLC, of Des Moines, reports the City’s receipts totaled $4.35 million dollars. The largest sources of revenue include $664,590 from property and other city taxes, $1.17 million from tax increment financing and $701,819 from service charges.
Disbursements for the fiscal year totaled $3.76 million. The largest expenses were $1.04 million for debt service, $978,622 for capital projects and $496,818 for public works.
