Stuart Community Leader Sandy Pollard has had two weeks to reflect on the experience of chairing her first Democratic Iowa Caucus.

When compared to the recent New Hampshire Primary, Pollard says the Iowa Caucus has a level of interactivity and intensity that won’t be experienced throughout the rest of the presidential election. “It’s really a wonderful democratic process, because you can talk to other people. You can also go to the other groups and convince other people, you can say ‘Hillary Clinton has got a better chance’, or ‘Bernie Sanders has got a better chance’, so there’s some room in there for some negotiation and salesmanship.”
