As we’ve reported, State Representative Clel Baudler has been working for over a year on a bill to increase enforcement of synthetic drugs.
Baudler says a drug-related bill recently passed out of the House public safety committee, which he chairs. “We did a drug bill dealing with opiates out of the committee. It passed unanimously. It allows certain emergency and law enforcement agencies to carry a heroin overdose antidote.”
The bill needs to be approved by the House and Senate before it becomes a law.
