The Greene County Action Resource Center continues to serve all the communities in the county.

Site Manager Diane Blackmer says they served 99 families and 283 individuals in January. She would like to thank everyone who donates to the ARC, especially the county presbyterian churches who donated 4,286 cans of soup last week. Items needed at this time include spaghetti sauce and boxes of macaroni and cheese.

Looking toward the spring and summer months, Blackmer requests small household items and clothing. Household items include pots, pans, dishes, small appliances, plus bed sheets, pillowcases, blankets and towels. Any size clothing from infant to plus size adults are appreciated.

The ARC is open every Wednesday and the third Saturday of every month at 9:30am. Donations can be made on those days starting at 8:30am.
