Two conference rivals will clash in area postseason girls basketball action tonight in Panora. The visiting West Central Valley Wildcats head into the game with an even record of 11-11 and fresh off a first round 47-32 playoff win over Earlham, Saturday night in Stuart.

The host Panorama Panthers head into their postseason debut with a regular season record of 15-5. The Panthers have won seven of their last eight games, including a 57-30 route of West Central Valley on January 15th.

West Central Valley head coach Drew Stonewall says it will be a tall task for his squad to defeat Panorama tonight, but he believes they can do it. “We got to focus on what we need to do and that is, most of all, to take care of the basketball. The first game we played them, we were in the game for three quarters and then let it slip away, mostly due to turnovers. Then the second time we played them, it got out of hand early, due to many turnovers and we never had a chance.”

Tip off scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight in Panora.
