The Perry boys basketball team wrapped up their regular season on Tuesday night with a 73-41 win over Saydel. Perry raced out to a 24-9 lead after 1 quarter, and led by 33 at the break. Perry junior Janier Puente led all scorers with a game-high 19 points, while fellow junior Kyle Nevitt added 17. Kole Walker and Reece Martin led Saydel with 9 points each.

Perry improves to 12-9 (8-6) on the year and will face Dallas Center-Grimes in the first round of district play on Monday.
