Perry Fine Arts invites everyone to join them for a unique entertainment opportunity next month.
The Des Moines Metro Opera’s Opera Iowa will perform their production of Rossini’s “Cinderella” in the Perry Performing Arts Center on March 11th.
Committee member Cathy Clark says with the familiar story and this unique approach to opera, they expect it to be something everyone an enjoy.
“The operas will be done in English. So if you’re sort of intimidated by opera, or you’ve never seen opera, come on March the 11th. It’s going to be on a Friday night so that’s a little bit different from what we usually have but you don’t have to drive to Des Moines, you don’t have to drive to Ames, you don’t have trouble parking. All we ask is that we have a free will donation.”
The concert starts at 7pm and it’s open to the public.
