Nonprofit organizations in Guthrie County or that provide services to Guthrie County residents have one week to submit applications for the Guthrie County Community Foundation’s 2016 grant cycle.

A group of teenage Panorama students are working with younger kids to mentor them against using tobacco.

 

Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU) allows high school students to teach their younger peers about the dangers of tobacco.

School nurse Deanna VanGundy says the tobacco use prevention presentation given by the high schoolers offers the younger students a refreshing departure from the traditional lessons taught by adults.
