Friday, February 26th

A deputy was advised of an illegally parked trailer on Midland Power Cooperative property at J Avenue and 215th Street. The owner was contacted about the issue.

Saturday, February 27th

A deputy was advised by a Scranton resident of possibly seeing what he thought was a bobcat near his residence.

A deputy was dispatched for a reported careless driving concern near 230th Street and S Avenue. The described vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated just east of Jefferson. The driver was evaluated and allowed to continue.

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer and an Iowa State Patrol Officer with a search warrant in the 400 block of East State Street in Jefferson.

A deputy was dispatched to Henderson Park south of Jefferson to check a vehicle that was reported to have slid off the roadway due to the mud. The car was towed from the park.

Sunday, February 28th

A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of East Hager Street in Grand Junction to investigate criminal mischief to a vending machine in the Laundromat. After an investigation the deputy charged a juvenile male subject with Criminal Mischief 5th. Also charged and transported to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center was Dylan Mikul Casali 18, of Grand Junction, for Criminal Mischief 5th Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana 1st Offense,  Serious Misdemeanor.

A deputy was advised of a dog running at large in the 1500 block of T Avenue. The dog was not found upon the deputy’s arrival.

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with the arrest of two adults in the 300 block of North Chestnut Street in Jefferson.

A deputy was dispatched to 270th Street and A Avenue to investigate the report of four off road dirt bikes being ridden on the roadway near Dunbar Slough. The bikes were not located at that time.

A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of 1st Street in Grand Junction to check the welfare of several animals.
