As Sub-State action for class 3A wraps up and teams are headed off to state, those who were unfortunate enough not to make it to the big dance are now reflecting on their seasons and planning ahead.
Unfortunately for the ADM boys basketball team, their trip to the Wells Fargo Arena was cut well short of it’s expected time frame. Despite being knocked off in the first round of action the season overall for the Tigers was very successful. The Tigers turned around a 3 win team from last year and took that record all the way to 13-9 this season. That record was a big improvement from last season, and one that head coach Aaron Mager told Raccoon Valley Radio, was one that the kids deserved.
“I thought the kids really earned an improved record. The kids came in three times a week, sometimes on a league morning,” stated coach Mager.
The Tiger basketball team doesn’t plan on stopping that success anytime soon. Coach Mager will look to take the success from this season and look to turn that into success for seasons to come.
