The girls’ basketball all-conference selections have been announced by coaches of Rolling Valley Activities Conference schools. Paton-Churdan senior Carleigh Paup was on the first team, while senior Sydney Koch was named to the second unit, and senior Kasey Lane was on the honorable mention list.
Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton won the conference title and went unbeaten until the quarterfinals of the Class 1A portion of the State tournament. P-C went 12-10 overall.
Paup averaged 24.7 points per game this season and amassed 1,833 points in her four year varsity career. She also had five steals per game. Koch averaged 10.1 points per contest and had 5.1 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game. Lane scored 7.6 points per game on average and hauled in nearly eight rebounds per contest.
