Greene County High School boys’ head basketball coach Jeramie Hinote talked to Raccoon Valley Radio about the recently completed season. The Rams were 10-11 overall after going 3-8 in the first half. They finished in a three-way tie for fourth place in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference. The coach credits the seniors for their leadership and unselfish play as a big reason for the turnaround. “It’s not often you get six or seven seniors on a team and if you do, it’s not very often they all can contribute, but all six of these kids contributed some way or form using their talents to make this team better. There’s a lot of good leadership involved with this group, too.”

Seniors are Tyler Beger, Sico Boateng, Anthony Cunningham, Mitchell Gorsuch, Reid Lamoureux, and Max Neese.
