Perry School Board Meeting Preview
The Perry School Board will hold their monthly meeting Monday.
Agenda items include reports on the professional learning communities, parent teacher conferences, high school and middle school music activities, homecoming ideas, the school audit report, a preliminary budget presentation, recently attended workshops and the school board self-evaluation.
The Board will then approve the 2014-2015 school audit, approve the budget guarantee resolution and approve a wireless connectivity bud from Universal Services.
Insurances plans and rates for the upcoming school year will then be considered, along with setting the cash rent for an estate property, approving personnel changes and board policy revisions and establishing a new account to handle vendor pull payments.
The meeting starts at 6pm in the Brady library at Perry High School.
Dallas County Supervisors Meeting Preview
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Tuesday.
Items on the agenda include consideration of an out of state travel request from the human resources director, approval of dust control vendor permits and setting a public hearing in regards to non-current debt for drainage district six.
The Board will then appoint a weed commissioner, consider the 26th change order for the human services campus renovation project, hold a space planning workshop and present the fiscal year 2016-17 budget to the media.
The Supervisors will reconvene that evening for a public hearing on the proposed budget, along with consideration of the compensation board’s recommendation for elected official’s salaries and approval of the budget.
The regular meeting starts at 9am in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
